Fearnley Day Nursery is a family-owned business established in 1996 and currently rated Good by OFSTED. The proprietors are nursery practitioners with over 25 years of experience running a successful day nursery. We have an experienced, dedicated team of staff who are encouraged to develop their learning in many different areas, including in Safe Guarding, Paediatric Medic First Aid, Health & Safety, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Basic Food Hygiene. Our nursery is ideally located just off Cleckheaton Road on Belmont Avenue, Bradford, West Yorkshire in a quiet residential area. Everyone is welcome to have a look around. We offer 15-30 hours free funding for children 2, 3 and 4 years. Call us for more details.

Age groups


We care for children from birth to five years old. Our rooms are divided by age groups;

(0 - 2 years) - Caterpillar Room 
(2 - 3 years) - Ladybird Room
(3 - 5 years) - Butterfly Room

Helpful tips

Activities and play: We have a variety of exciting activity and play areas ranging from a Mark Making area, Computer area and Home Corner area, to a large outdoor play area.

Wellbeing: All members of staff ensure they meet the physical needs of each individual baby and there emotional needs of feeling secure but independent with lots of cuddles, affection and stimulation.

Play rooms: Our baby and toddler rooms are situated on the ground floor to enable easy access for parents, our pre-school is located on the first floor. All rooms have air conditioning to maintain an ambient temperature throughout the year.
